This ritual is dedicated to the Goddess Athena, daughter of Zeus and Metis, and born out of the God’s head. She beat on His skull to be let out and once His head was split open, She burst forth fully dressed and armed.

In the ADF rite we will call on Aegis-bearing Zeus and Skillful Hephaistos for Her release into the world that knowledge and wisdom may fill our souls.
